In this oil painting session, we will create a still life featuring a vibrant pumpkin and garlic bulbs, exploring the warm autumn palette — from brilliant oranges and golden highlights to earthy browns and muted shadows. Particular attention will be given to the contrast between different surfaces: the pumpkin's rounded, ribbed form and the delicate, papery layers of garlic skin. We will practise using colour, light, and expressive brushwork to capture their distinctive textures and create a convincing sense of volume.
